World of Tanks is not only a popular multiplayer online game, now it is a personal care line. The new ‘inspired’ product line is released by a Belarusian factory Modum — it includes of shampoos, shower gels, as well as products for shaving.
Olga Tsavlovskaya, Marketing Manager, confirms that the company has entered into a license agreement with Wargaming. The new products have been available in stores for a month already. The design was developed jointly by both companies, with recipes approved upon full-scale testing.
The brand ‘World of Tanks’ belongs to the Belarusian-Cypriot company Wargaming. The audience of the game exceeds 110 million people, 40 million users of which are from Russia and the CIS. It is not the first case of partnership for World of Tanks, for example, two years ago, the brand owner agreed to set up a ‘Tankoburger’ with Burger King. Buyers of that burger get additional bonuses.
Recently, the company has mastered the augmented reality, launching a mobile app for the Navy Day — World of Warships: PortHub. The company regularly produces special projects, associated with various holidays. For example, on the eve of the All Saints Day, it offered players of World of Tanks to play in a battle with tanks-ghosts; on the Victory Day, it presented a large-scale movie preview trailer from Alexandra Kott, who directed the movie ‘Brest Fortress’.
