Oltermanni was the brand No. 1 in the category of packed hard cheeses in Russia until 2014, now it returns to the country’s market. In October 2016, Valio presents the first Oltermanni cheese, produced in Russia from the best Russian raw materials.

Valio announces the resumption of sales of Oltermanni Cream Cheese, packaged, sliced, with 45% of fat. The product is manufactured at the company's own factory in Yershov (Moscow region), which produces Viola Processed Cheese and slices hard cheeses. Cheese for the novelty is produced at the partner company’s facilities — Velikolukskiy Dairy Plant JSC, which passed Valio’s compliance audits in 2015 and 2016 and has been a supplier of raw materials (for different types of cheese) for Valio’s plant in Yershov from 2015.

The cheese recipe was developed jointly by Finnish specialists and technologists of the partner company. It was based on Valio’s expertise in the production of cheese of the highest quality and modern equipment of the dairy plant in Velikiye Luki. The novelty received the highest scores for its organoleptic properties from Finnish experts and Russian consumers.

The new Oltermanni cheese, produced in Russia, guarantees the brand’s basic advantages for consumers: the highest quality and excellent creamy taste.

This cheese is made from the best milk, does not contain milk fat substitutes, colorings, flavorings and gluten. In addition, the novelty suits those, who adhere to a vegetarian diet, because the cheese is produced with the use of microbial rennet enzyme.

Oltermanni is one of the key brands in Valio’s portfolio. In Finland, the Oltermanni line consists of 18 products and includes a wide range of different cheeses with varying degrees of saturation of taste — from easy to aged cheddar, as well as with different fat content. The company has produced Oltermanni in Finland from the 1980s, in Russia — from 2016.
