Roust Group, the largest producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages in Central and Eastern Europe and the second largest producer of vodka in the world, is launching Dubrovsky Cognac in Russia. This is Roust's first own cognac brand. In Russia, this category ranks second in terms of sales after vodka, and it continues to show stable growth.
Dubrovsky Cognac belongs to the middle price segment and the most popular category of five-year cognacs, which corresponds to the latest market trends and consumer preferences. It appeared through a complex and painstaking work of blending experts. This cognac is made from French distillates aged in oak barrels for at least five years, and some of the distillates have been aged for ten years.
The drink tastes softly, velvety, revealing itself with a noble bouquet of oak-pepper notes, and also has a long and warming aftertaste. Even true gourmets will find appealing the golden-amber color, light and balanced enveloping aroma, filled with oak notes with pleasant spice and vanilla sweetness in depth.
The Dubrovsky Cognac concept is inspired by the unfinished novel by Aleksandr Pushkin, widely known in Russia and abroad. Exclusivity of the noble drink is reinforced by premium design of the bottle: the notches resemble officer epaulettes, and the shako and scarlet stripe are the award ribbon on the hero's chest. The gilded cork and elegant necklace emphasize the quality of the product.
The novelty comes in the most popular 0.5 liter format, it will be available in retail stores in May 2021.
