East Siberian Machine-Building Plant (Irkutsk region, Russia), which is part of Rosneft Oil Company, launched a line for oil barrels. The new production facility will provide Rosneft's enterprises with containers for petroleum products.
Angarsk Petrochemical Company (owned by Rosneft) will completely cover the need for metal containers to ship commercial oils. The company produces over 100 types of oils, including those that have no analogues on the Russian market.
The new products are in high demand among Angarsk Plant of Catalysts and Organic Synthesis, Novokuibyshevsk Plant of Oils and Additives, Moscow Plant Nefteprodukt, and Bashneft-Novoil.
The production line can deliver five barrels per minute (520,000 per year) per shift. Containers have a volume of 216.5 l. Only materials that meet current technical requirements are used to manufacture barrels. The line performs a full production cycle — production of blanks, assembly of barrels, painting and branding. Thanks to high automation, just 28 people man the line.
