To ensure independence from third-party suppliers, Fanagoria, one of Russia’s largest winemakers, has launched the production of metal containers for aging still and sparkling wines and for their storage. Previously, the company was importing such containers. The winery plans to produce 100 containers per month and increase this number to 250 in the future. Sales for third-party customers are also open.
With such containers, you can optimize the limited area of a wine cellar, use the cargo space and storage facilities in an optimal way. A container for sparkling wine holds up to 510 bottles with a volume of 0.75 liters. The manufacturing technology envisages reliable protection of fragile goods during transportation and from damage during storage.
Containers will be made of the highest quality Russian steel. All bearing and connecting nodes will be made of rods with improved cross-section up to 12 mm in diameter. Galvanic coating will protect the metal from corrosion. Such containers will be resistant to cool temperatures and humid conditions in which wines are aged.
The containers are adapted to different types of glass bottles, from 0.375 l to the standard 0.75 l. They are versatile and suitable for storing, aging, transporting, displaying wines in wine cellars or at exhibitions and fairs. It takes just 30 seconds to unfold a container.
You can stack containers up to four levels in height, they are adapted to modern machines and loading and unloading operations. When idle, containers can be folded and stored one on top of the other up to 17 levels in height.
They are reusable and fully recyclable, ensuring eco-friendly operation: no more pallets, stretch film, cardboard. When used properly, these containers will serve for up to 15 years. During their service life, if necessary, you can quickly replace damaged elements with new ones.
By the end of this year, Fanagoria will release 600 containers for its sparkling wines.
